State of the Gate February 26,2026
Greetings, Salutations, and Devoirs!
Allow me to entertain you with the most recent goings on within the Gate, Perimeter and Exodus Ecosystem…
It has been a busy month, and the past week saw a large-scale function within Burning Man Project. GPE, as part of Event Operations, participated in the Event Operations Summit, a day long production that focused on the departments involved in the logistical planning and infrastructure required for Black Rock City. Fowler and I were part of the process and contributed content, which was well received. This space allows us to share concerns and establish plans for making the entire system flow better.
Our bimonthly manager meetings are about to start in earnest, and we are beginning the hiring process for our paid roles. Look for future messages on Gate Announce and Gate List regarding openings if you are interested; I will discuss upcoming positions at the end of this missive.
Another heads up regarding the 2026 GPE Logo Contest: your chance at infamy! We will be opening that up for submissions next week so stay tuned for that as well!
